The Black Tie dress code signifies a sophisticated, formal evening. We kindly ask our guests to embrace the elegance of this tradition.

For Gentlemen: The Classic Tuxedo
A tuxedo (dinner jacket) is the expected attire. This is significantly more formal than a regular business suit.
- A black tuxedo
- The jacket should have satin, silk, or grosgrain on the lapels (shawl or peak lapel). Trousers should match the jacket and could have a single satin or silk stripe down the outside leg.
- A white formal dress shirt
- This must be a crisp white shirt, often with a pleated or piqué bib front. It should have a turn-down collar (most common) or a wing collar (more formal).
- A black bow tie
- A black bow tie in silk, satin, or velvet is traditional.
- A Cummerbund OR Waistcoat (Vest)
- One of these should be worn to cover the waistline. A black cummerbund is traditional, or a low-cut waistcoat that matches the jacket. Never wear both.
- Black Patent Leather shoes
- Highly polished black patent leather or velvet opera pumps/loafers are the traditional standard. Black dress socks are required.

For Ladies: Evening Gowns and Formal Elegance
The dress code for women is one of formal sophistication, often translating to a floor-length dress.
- A Formal Floor-Length Evening Gown
- The silhouette can range from a flowing A-line to a structured ballgown. While no specific colour is required, please note that the bridal party will be in a forest green.
- Dressy heels/flats
- Due to the location, opt for a wedge or block heel.
